Asking: ballpark $7500
Price is flexible. Considerate of all offers.
For sale: rare combo 1997 Dakar Yellow E36 M3 Automatic 4D Sedan. Napa Black Leather / Black Sport Trim. 3.2L I6 EFI. Turn key ready. I am the second owner of this vehicle, acquired October 2008 (ODO 112,877) in Newport Beach, California. My weekend driver for four years. Never tracked. In 2012, vehicle was transported to Seattle, Washington where it has been stored since. Routinely started and serviced. The vehicle has been garaged for the entirety of its 19 year existence. Body and paint are near flawless. No rust to speak of. Never seen winter. Original VINS match up on panels all around. Completely stock under the hood. Mechanically sound with no issues to speak of, lifetime of regular maintenance and care. Interior is close to immaculate for its age. No stains. No spills. Non-smoker vehicle. Sunroof works like a charm. Leather is in great condition, no cracking. Dash, console and glove compartment are in very clean shape. No scuffs or wear of any sort. Only drawbacks to the interior, door tweeter trim rings are cracked and the roof liner is beginning to sag.
One of the most aesthetically pristine examples of the E36 out there. Often gets more attention than is desired. I hate to let her go but I am in the process of moving out of the country.
The Bad:
Salvage title. January 2010 the vehicle was involved in a single car collision. The damage was limited to the front left control arm, bumper and left wheel. The airbags did not deploy and the frame, engine and radiator were not damaged, supported by insurance claim (details, paperwork and images available). Body is straight, welcome all inspections. Replaced left front suspension strut, hub, knuckle, control arm, front bumper and wheels all around. I made the ill advised mistake of installing a DTM FiberWerkz RG Infinity front bumper, ground clearance was an issue resulting in two large cracks evident in the photos, missing bolt has since been replaced. 15k miles put on since rebuild, runs as it did pre-collision.
Climate control unit needs a new condenser.
