1999 BMW 5-Series Description

Selling a 1999 540i BMW Wagon black on black. $6500. Unfortunately must part with this car never planned on selling it. IM the third owner, second owner only had it for about 6 months, and wanted more of a cruiser this is truly a sports car. It does have a rebuilt title, and came by that when the first owner donated this car for tax rights offs after buying his wife another luxury ride. The first owner had a lot of money and was easier to donate than to sell. This is the ONLY reason this car has the rebuilt title. The car is a southern California car, was donated in Newport Beach. The second owner was the driver that picked up the car and was able to purchase it after seeing its amazing condition. Asked the owner why he would donate such a nice car that is when he found out money was no problem, tax advantages were. There are no problems with this car what so ever, know many get leery of a salvage title this car is an exception to the rule. Because donated the state re titled it as "salvage" for this reason alone. I can not state clearly enough this car does not match a salvage titled car, seeing in person great color combination, black on black. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS CAR NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SALVAGE TITLE FOR BEING A DONATION VEHICLE, NO ACCIDENTS, NO FLOOD DAMAGE AND NOTHING HAS BEEN REBUILT. AS A DONATION GAVE THIS A SALVAGE TITLE.
The pictures were taken first day of ownership, and was overcast very unusual for our Las Vegas weather, and dont do the car justice. You will notice the front grills dont match, I prefer the chrome to flat black just never got around to changing them out, this is an easy inexpensive repair. all windows, sunroof, switches etc work perfect. I try to be as open and honest with all the information I have received since buying this car in early June 2016. Need the money, truly hate selling the car...
The second owner owned a towing company and was pleasantly surprised when he picked up the car seeing it was a gem inside and out.
Car has just over 114K is super clean inside and out with a few minor door dings and a spot on the hood. Difficult to see you have to look for them. Car shows very well when waxed and polished. Has had just over 4K with of recent work with receipts to prove. This car is in amazing condition, drives perfect, everything works as it should. One set of pixels are low in the dash, very minor door ding, small spot on the hood, interior is a solid 9.5. Car drives excellent, powerful responsive motor. New rims with almost brand new tires. NEVER planned to sell this car, I absolutely love it but must sell due to financial hardship. Planned or getting it perfect, the $6500 price is selling for much less than actually have into it. It is cool car if you like BMW's, just over 2300 made in the few short years of this body style run from 1999 - 2003. With cars produced in the hundreds of thousands + a TOTAL of less than 2400 made is a scarce car. 1999 just around 879 made, low production run for the model year of 1999.
Over all excellent condition for a car approaching 20 years old. Has all the options expected on a luxury vehicle and everything works as it should. Priced @ $6500 for two reasons have much more invested and for the price and condition is one of the best on the market dispite the unwarranted salvage title. AGAIN THERE IS NO REASON THIS CAR SHOULD HAVE A SALVAGE TITLE. Reasonably priced great car. Runs excellent, drives perfect....
