2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers are found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4. The Ford Expedition is a full sized SUV that is based off of the rugged and reliable F-Series truck. I would rate the exterior of this Expedition to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Expedition. It is finished in white and tan two tone with matching tan interior. The white finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Expedition, there really isn't anything noteworthy to report. There are a few small traces of surface rust under the doors and on the rockers...which is quite common. In all honesty, the rust situation with this Expedition is head and shoulders better than most other Expeditions of this age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels are finished in chrome and wrapped in a matching set of rubber with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Expedition. Please take your time to check out each of the photos to see how clean this truck looks.

I would rate the interior of this Expedition to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats show minimal wear for their age and are comfortable. Both front seats are embroidered with the Eddie Bauer logo. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work properly. The drivers door lock switch doesn't seem to work but the right one does and the clicker works. The audio system is the original Ford Mach Audio Premium Sound System which works properly and sounds good. There is a factory CD changer in the center console, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. There is also rear heating and air conditioning. Access to the third row of seats is simple. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Expedition.

Mechanically, this Expedition appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. You can hear / feel a few little rattles here and there...but nothing terrible. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. She feels strong and smooth. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. I've personally put the last 100+ miles on this Expedition with no problems. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. If you're looking for a clean Expedition, this Eddie Bauer deserves your serious consideration. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
