This is a loud, mean car. I built it to run in SCCA Steet Modified Autocross
competition. It won many local autocross races in 2008 and 2009. It also won the
Street Modified Regional Championship in 2009. I put an emphasis on handling and
reliability rather than numbers. I bought a Cobra so I didn't have to mess with the engine.
It passes emission and safety inspection in Montgomery county TX, which has high
standards due to Houston proximity.
Paint has normal rock chips on front clip, and small area on top right rear quarter
panel where looks like some solvent dripped on. Area is several drops over 2" x 3". Left
door has a small ding that you won't see unless you are looking for it. I tried to take a picture,
but it wouldn't show up. Top of rear bumper has area 4"x7" on right side where some repair
has been made and paint is slightly faded. Only visible in direct sunlight.
I replaced the power steering pump, hydroboost, and steering rack this summer. There is still air in the lines that needs to be bled.
My plan was to finish it out for NASA American Iron or SCCA C Prepared
categories, so I didn't do anything to make it illegal for those. It's not far from either.
Life beckons, so I have to part ways with my car. Inspection is due, and if you live in
Texas I will do it for you. Email me with questions. Good luck bidding!
