1997 Land Rover Defender Base Sport Utility 2-Door Description

Owned for the last 14 years by Doctor Lester Thurow, Dean of Economics at the Sloan School of Managementat MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). At His death of March of this year, We purchased this 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 in AA Yellow with Gray Interior withonly 34,302 original miles on it, as well as several other Vehicles and a Kubota Tractor from his Estate. We then started an extensive refurbishment, which in spite of the vehicle's very low mileage, was called for by time. We had 5 new correct tires put on, New Spark Plugs and Wires, Complete front and rear brake replacement, suspension pieces, front and rear shocks, all fluids, including transfer case, differential, brake fluid, transmission where changed, power steering hydraulic lines, etc... All parts where sourced from Rovers North in Westford Vermont. The bottom of this vehicle, all though solid, was descaled, by hand and re undercoated. We also had a updated modern sound system with Pioneer bluetooth radio and new speakers. The vehicle has a Clean Carfax and is currently registered to the owner of our company at his home in Rhode Island. It is only 1 of 300 AA Yellow, Automatic Transmission Defenders. And as an added plus a factory Air Conditioning. This Rover is priced correctly in the market at $78,888.
