1999 Porsche 911 Carerra 996 AERO Description

Up for auction is my 1999 Porsche 911 Carerra (996) with factory Aero kit.
The car is absolutely beautiful and only has 67,000 miles on it. It has been garage kept its entire life and was a Texas car prior to my owning it. If you have done your research on these cars, you know the IMS bearing can be a real problem and deters many buyers. However, this 911 has the L&N bearing installed which solves the issue. The clutch and the rear main seal were also done at the same time because it's easy to get to when you do the install. I have the paperwork on the install as well.
The black exterior is beautiful with a few (and I mean VERY few) rock chips from driving the low 67K miles. The interior is immaculate with an aftermarket stereo head unit installed. I had a headphone jack installed in the center console to allow ipod/phone connection for music. There are no rips or tears in the seats. All electrical works as it should. There are no warning lights on and the tires are about 80% tread left. The muffler was upgraded by the previous owner to give the engine a lower tone. It's a good sound, but still classy for a quiet driving experience. The car title is in hand, clear, and it has no accident history.
The entire car is simply gorgeous. I am selling the car because I am looking to buy a less practical car in the near future (Polaris Slingshot -- it really is less practical). You are welcome to have the car inspected by the mechanic of your choice at your expense. I will be happy to assist in delivering the car to an inspection if you are an out of town buyer. Any other pictures you would like taken can also be sent if necessary.
