2001 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Description

I have a very nice low mile 2001Toyota Tacoma 4x4. It is equipped with the TRD package as well as the SR5 package. The truck only has 109k miles and if you know anything about the 3.4 liter Tacomas that is extremely low miles. The truck was one of the many toyotas that ended up with a rusty frame issue. Unfortunately this all happened after the recall had ended. I purchased a rust free frame from a light roll over truck out of Georgia. The frame was dead straight and rust free. The body of this truck was always rust free despite the bad frame. I por15'd the new frame anyway along with anything left under the truck that I didn't replace. I did replace a lot of suspension parts only because they were rusty appearing. They could have been cleaned up and painted but while I had everything apart I went ahead and replaced a lot of stuff. The Tacoma has a simple 3" lift. It has spacers up front and extended shackles out back. It wasn't built as an off road beast. There are plenty of trail rigs out there for sale if that is what you are looking for. The truck does run and drive great and the 4x4 works flawless for those times you do need to go off road. The truck was always fleet maintained and has had the timing belt and water pump and associated parts done recently. The truck has brand new 285/75/16 tires and wheels also. I installed a stepside bed which you don't see too many of. I had a real hard time finding a stock rear bumper for the stepside and ended up going with an old school step bumper fabed to fit snug. I think it looks great. The paint on the truck is new and looks great but did come out with a few small flaws. It is still a good 8 out of 10. The truck came out of a fleet of work trucks so there were a few dings to deal with but no real dents and definitely no rust. I have made the description as complete as I can. I have a 100% seller rating for a reason so bid with confidence and ask any question about the truck. There is a small article with a few more pics on the truck build on builttacomas.com that you should check out also. Thanks
