2007 Ford Taurus X/FreeStyle Limited Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games our of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test every vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the be...st of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Ford Freestyle Limited AWD. I would rate the exterior of this Freestyle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking cross-over. She is finished in Redfire Metallic over Tan leather, which is a great color combination. The red exterior has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Freestyle, the worst I can point out on the exterior are a few rub marks on the bumper covers and that the driver's rear corner of the hood has a slight bend. All in all, not too bad for a 10 year old vehicle. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Freestyle Limited looks. I would rate the interior of this 2007 Freestyle Limited to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are generally clean and full looking throughout the interior, showing no excessive wear. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are clean and comfortable throughout the interior, showing no excessive wear. Being a "Limited", this is a very well optioned Freestyle. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work well. The wood accents give the interior a warm feel. The audio system is original and sounds good. The audio system is operated via the factory touch screen display. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There are independent temperature controls for the driver, passenger and rear. Access to the 3rd row of seating is simple and accommodating. There is also an impressive amount of leg room in the 3rd row for a vehicle of this size. What is also impressive is the amount of cargo room available with the 3rd row up. This is because the cargo area dips lower than the seat line. My wife's personal car is actually an 05 Freestyle so I can personally vouch for how versatile these Freestyle's are. I gave it to her as a loaner while her car was getting serviced. It has been 3 years now and she won't give the Freestyle back, haha. When not in use, the 3rd row easily folds flat to open up a generous amount of cargo room. If that's not enough, the 2nd row also folds flat to make room for pretty much whatever you want. What's nice is that you can also fold only one side of each row. That means you can have one kid sitting behind the other and have the other side completely flat for large / long items. Trust me, we've put her Freestyle through just about everything you can imagine. Mechanically, this Freestyle appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L Duratec V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. She hits the road nice and straight. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and performs perfectly with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I can personally vouch for these cars. I bought my wife's 05 with 164k miles 3 years ago. It currently has 196k on it and I've had to do nothing to it other than brakes, tires and an alternator. We take her car all over the place and never with an ounce of hesitation. If you take care of these, they will last and are absolutely excellent vehicles. They are extremely versatile, comfortable, economical and capable. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
